Workshop Date: Wednesday January 22nd 2025
Session Times: 11am and 2pm
Location: Mitre 10 Nuriootpa - 14 Gawler St, Nuriootpa
Cost: $45pp
Come and join us on Wednesday 22nd January at Mitre 10 in Nuri for a fun workshop where you will make your own custom enclosed terrarium.
Included in the price is a glass fishbowl shaped terrarium with an acrylic lid (dimensions: top opening of 10.5cm, widest mid point of 15cm, 12cm high - shown in second image), 2 x plants per person (plant types will vary based upon availability but are all humidity loving tropical varieties), all soil/charcoal/pebbles/sand (multiple pebble and sand colours to choose from), decorations (larger stones and rocks etc) and 2 x mini figures per person.
*Additional mini figs can be purchased for $2pp should you want more than 2 :)
Learn about the layers within the terrarium and the purpose they serve in maintaining the mini eco system you are creating.
You'll leave equipped with care instructions for your terrarium, and a 10% GLL discount voucher.
You'll be guided by Krystie who is a very friendly and encouraging teacher, and always happy to provide assistance where needed.
This workshop is great for beginners right through to more advanced plant lovers.
This workshop is open for both children (aged 5 and over) and adults to book into and participate in.
Children aged 5-10 years MUST have a parent/guardian with them to assist and a liability waiver must be signed prior to commencing for children in this age range.
Please also note - due to limited space, if the workshop sells to capacity there will not be space for non-paying and non-participating people to sit at the workshop making tables with children/friends. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
Workshop run time is approximately 1-1.5hours, the duration may vary slightly due to the number of participants and capabilities of each person.
These sessions are limited to a maximum of 24 participants each so be sure to book your spot ASAP to avoid disappointment.
Bookings in advance are essential so we can ensure we have the right number of terrariums and materials prepared for the day.
